a cool wedding

Whats up People. Its been quite a while since we last spoke. Im edwin, signing in for the treasured vessels just dropping in a short post!

A PICTURE OF HER WITH ME AND THE TREASURED VESSELS, THE GIRLS WEREN'T AWARE WHEN THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN SO THEY WERE NOT THERE!

This was a really cool wedding we attended. The bride was a member of our church and she married another member of our church. THE WEDDING WAS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS EXCEPT FOR THE MEDDLESOME HARMATTAN DUST, BUT WE GOT OVER IT. Well the girl is from tennessee and her parents came all the way to Nigeria to support her big decision. What devotion. (sob! sob!) in a good way.

january post 2007

Hey people,
Wat's up! We just returned from a trip to our Y.E.P camp in Ghana, a long way from home. This was the second time for most of us so we really didn't need to stress ourselves. We could sit back and take it all in our stride.
The average age for campers and staff this year was rather on the really low side and that brought down the quality of the competition we were up against but that didnt stop us Nigerians from sweeping up all their awards. We mopped up thirty five of their sixty awards and the experience was fulfilling although this year we were not quite fortunate to get a tour of Accra, Ghana's capital city.
There was a lot of love this year in Y.E.P 2006 and add to that four dazzling nigerian girls, you know what you get. David was up to his usual pranks again, liasing with the Ghanian girls who didn't seem to mind. I guess he was he was already sampling the available company. We came home safely (thank God) and we settled back to the familiar routine of church life.

Our theme for this year is streamlined to meet the theme for the church which is "The character of God" after the late selwyn hughes devotional for january/ febuary 2007. It seems our pastor Mr. David Adelana has grown really fond of the poor man and sometimes follows him religiously.
Will keep you posted on further news soonest.

                                                                                                                  Keep safe. Edwin.:-)
